Real estate agents are licensed professionals who represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. It is their duty to negotiate and arrange real estate sales. Negotiate and arrange includes showing property, listing property, filling in contracts, listing agreements, and purchase contracts. They help people to either buy or sell a home or a piece of property. This may start from humble plots of land and small starter homes to exotic islands and luxury mansions.

What does a Real Estate Agent Do?

Real estate agents perform different duties, depending on whether they work for the buyer or the seller. They are knowledgeable about their local laws regarding about buying and selling of property. The area where an agent is working in is their area of expertise which means that they know trends within the local property market.

It is their role to act as the middleman, or broker, between two parties who are seeking to buy or sell a property. They have the skills and expertise to either market or look for property that suits a client’s needs and buy it at the best price possible which has the most favorable terms.
